The Computer Science Department at Mendocino College offers a wide variety of courses, an AS degree in Computer Science, and two certificates of achievement. Our programs prepare students for career advancement, transfer to baccalaureate programs, and basic skills.

Computer and information sciences play an ever-increasing role in the evolution of our culture. The nature of almost everything—business, leisure, science, art, engineering, communication—is changing quickly as digital technology creates exciting opportunities and significant challenges. Our students will play a vital role in creating those opportunities, and addressing those challenges. Our goal is to give them the knowledge and skills to do so effectively and responsibly.
